DENTAL PROCEDURES

DENTAL CLEANING

The overall health of your pet depends upon proper dental care.  Pets often suffer from periodontal disease. Periodontal disease is caused by bacteria forming on the teeth and infecting the gingiva. Over time, this infection can cause loss of teeth, heart, liver, and kidney disease.  The key to preventing periodontal disease is routine dental check ups and cleanings.

At Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital we are committed to the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease in all of our patients.

Dental cleanings are preformed under general anesthesia.  Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital uses the most advanced methods of anesthesia and monitoring along with pre-anesthetic blood screenings for the safety of each pet.
